West-Central IL | Looking for shiplap siding for a barn preservation project at a local working history showgrounds.
We have checked with Menards, etc but they can only get boards up to 16'. We need 18 to 20 footers to put back like originals. Anybody have a specialty lumber mill around them?
Awesome amounts of clear old lumber when they built these the first time. We've taken down 12 by 12 beams 30' long, probably original old growth American timber. Barn was built about 1884.
We are moving the barn and reusing all of the framing. Just need roof and siding.
