Know exactly what you are talking about. Get a square head bolt 5/16 x 2 and use it. Install bolt the normal way and tighten on post - this will leave about 1/2" of unused threads after you tighten it up. Install the wires that would normally be on the opposite end of the original bolt onto the unused threads and tighten up with a second nut. Use a longer bolt if you have too. Hope this helps
