NW OHIO | New Leader use to make them, not sure when they quit. We have one on a steel box that we bought new in 1975. I would love to be able to update it to a stainless steel box just like. It uses a hopper that diverts the flow from the belt forward, the material then drops down into a auger that discharges from the side of the truck. It uses a hydraulic divert-er valve that diverts the oil that would normally go to the spinners and uses it to power a motor to drive the auger. Very simple design. if you would like I can post some pictures of it tomorrow. | |
