Perry, MO | Sorry to go off subject but I was also curious about the troubles you have had with Iveco. I think I remember seeing a post of yours on the combine forum about a 485, we also have a 485 we are having trouble with. It does not have any blow by, runs great, but is using oil. It does not smoke at all until you take the load off of it at the end of the field, then it puffs blue smoke for a couple seconds and clears right up. It will not smoke by just winding it up, has to be loaded up. It is not coming from the turbo and we have heard from one dealer that they had trouble with valve guides in the head. We are close to 1500 hours on the tractor and really frustrated. Thanks for any help. | |
