Is a hard pan not an issue? We plowed with mules to 300hsp 4x4s. My grandfather would take 30 days to plow a quarter. When I went to NT every farm had a hard pan about 10 -12 inches so hard you could hardly push a rod through. Is that only unique to my part of the country?
