SW MN and Gold Canyon AZ | We ripped ours about 2 days after they appled it with disk cover type equipment. Actually I think it incorporates it better, covers more manure and spreads it out in the soil profile. We always rip our end rows on bean stubble where they apply manure . It barely gets covered the ground gets so compacted. We go as soon as it dries enough to allow tillage.
We always apply 40 lbs of urea in the spring on all manured ground and incorporate then plant. There are always skips and loss of N from poor manure incorporation in places like combine tracks ect...
They have flow meters and we apply as low as we can for half mile rounds which is about 3000 gals per acre.
We also run the field cultivator in the spring at a good angle so as to spread out the manure better. Less chance of streaking of N.
