Subject: RE: direct command nh3

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
There would be several choices for this situation. The Raven Accuflow system typically uses one valve to shut off the entire toolbar but a second valve could be added. KZ also makes valves of this type.

In a Raven or similar system, a small line is used to direct a small portion of the NH3 back to the Cooler. Typically this is tee'd Off after the single ON/Off valve. With two ON/Off valves it may be necessary to use two of these lines with check valves in them so that either "side" could provide the NH3 for the cooling process.

We generally haven't been doing this split arrangement as there is a fair amount of additonal cost which needs to be offset by the savings in NH3.
