That is pretty much what we have already done but with external valves. We looked at using the tractors valves but decided against it, not wanting to cut wires and using it on more than one tractor would be painful.
ISO11783 has 'command' messages so these would not conflict with the system as i'd hope the system is made to accept them, possibly not tho...
