turns out it was a bin of canola. 3000bu heated.
Flows out the bin good but is at 50-60 deg Celcius. She's toast. Made a few phone calls, we can get $3/bushel for it but has to be alot cooler. Did some math on it: There's about $10k worth of fert (chemical makeup) in it. So we're going to run it through the fertilizer spreader on 200 acres and work it in. Since it's heated it should break down in the soil, no worries of it germinating now. Hopefully the 2009 crop to re-coupe it. If anything it will increase the organic matter. | |
