SW KS, near Dodge City | No idea on the 8640, but on our 9230 C-IH I've got the receiver directly over the front axle. Then pretty much guessed on all of the other measurements. (Went to the field w/ it & thought I had the configuration saved. Didn't. So I got to calibrate it with a fertilizer rig and NH3 tank on behind it.) Called our rep and he said to start w/ the angle/turn at around 8. I put it in at 8, turned the aggressiveness to 103% and rolled. I was happy with it.
I will add that we went through all of the articulation bushings about 500 hours ago, so the tractor steering is very tight. | |
