Subject: RE: insane grain bin extension on John Deere 7700 combine

Cen IL
Steiger, P butlers was built by Dave Fathauer ( Fathauer Grainland ) of Dalton City, IL. He only put togather the one. It was built with that size hopper so the combine could make 1 round turn on half mile rows. The grain truck took one hopper load back to the grain center and dumped his load in a 18" auger and headed back to the field. Dave was mechanical engineer that had a well equipped fab shop. This combine had and may still have a V8 cummins (555 or 505 ) in it. jeff
