No, that axle is fine. Almost 30 years old and still going strong. Was quite a beast in it's day. Good old combine for me. 1st year they put that extension on (79?) I think they said it broke the factory axle, the current one is fabbed from a 3pt ripper. Has 8820 spindles.

I haven't heard of anyone putting 00 spindles on AF combines-but I know you can get used Heavy Duty finals like the ones on my combine for about $1,000 from the salvage yard in El Paso, IL. I think it was closer to $1,500 if you want one that has been rebuilt with new bearings and seals.
