Most years I ride the double hook (30 ft) of 750 drills for a few rounds to see that everything is working, no plugged boots or seed tubes,etc at the start of planting. It really surprised me that my brother would overlap as much as 2-3 ft on a lot of the round and on occasion as much as 4 ft. with a light bar and manual steering , he rarely overlaps more than a few inches. He was totally unaware that he was overlapping that much while trying to line up the last pass with the end of 30 ft of drill.
