This is a great site with a lot of great information and this is one of my first posts. I am a college student writing a research paper about autosteer. The comp class I am in is centered around invention and thinking analytically. In other words looking for a deeper meaning to things or observing their social effects in society. I recognize the value of autosteer technology and its ability to reduces operator fatigue and overlap in the field, but my question is do find yourself working longer hours and trying to do more with your "free time" in the cab with this technology. For example are you trying to do additional work in the cab like checking weather and markets with wireless internet or conducting business calls while the tractor is in operation?
