You are correct this will replace the DJ unit in the cab. You will have the GS2 control all of the valves and flow meters and record all functions as well. With this setup you can also use the GS2 for prescriptions as well.
The GS2 will control almost any valve or flowmeter as long as you can figure out the pinouts. They are all pretty much the same components
