North Central Kansas | I'm not sure if you have run this engine since you poured the plastic in. If you have not run it and the oil fill is on the valve cover, I would recommend pulling the valve cover and pulling the plastic piece out. If it is still in there, I would not worry about it unless your oil pressure light or guage shows trouble. the piece of plastic can not cause trouble unless it gets into your oil pump pick-up screen or an oil gallery in the head. That should be a pretty easy fix ,,,,,remember that it will most likely only do damage if it get's into your oil pump.,,,and past your oil filter,,,,or plugs | |
