NW Washington | Have him pull the planter a hundred feet or thereabouts and count the number of rotation of the plate. Multiply number of turns times 24 and divide that into to the distance traveled and you should have spacing between seeds or solve for seeds per foot or whatever and scale that up to an acre.
You need to go 43560/2.5 or 17424 feet in a 30" row to plant an acre. Fifty K seeds/acre comes out to 2.9 seeds/ foot if I have not made a dumb error somewhere in numbers. | |
