NW Washington | Hang them outside on a clothes line for a day or two. I would try soaking them in a mix of dish washing detergent, Dawn or Joy before washing them to try to get rid of more of the grease/oil. Probably too late for that now. Or go the yelling Billy Mays route and use Oxi-Clean.
I remember our neighbor lady when I was a kid who used gasoline on the old man's overalls to get out the grease and oil, on the back porch, no less. It is amazing that she never burned down the house. But his stripped bib's were always spotless. | |
