Subject: RE: Case 2096

Sunflower State
I spent many hours row crop cultivating and furrowing on one of these. I thought is was great tractor. The power shift was bit rough when in road gear but smooth in the field. Never had any trouble with it other than breaking something inside with the three point linkage. Mechanic told us the way we came out of the field and lifted the tool put something in a bind when climbing out onto the road. (we turned around on the road) We solved this by lifting sooner. Engine was reliable and tranny too. No trouble but not much load either. Sipped fuel the way we used it.
