Subject: corn dryers

Walnut Grove MN USA
I see the need for a better drying setup in the next year along with more storage. Corn only. I currently have two in bin batch dryers. Basicly a 7000 bushel and 5000 bushel bin with stirrators and fans/heaters. I rent another setup that is about 250 bushel/hour in bin continuos flow. I figure I need about 700 bushel an hour additional. I am wondering if I should go to a continuos flow in bin system like a DMC system in on of my current bins ( Dad has one of those now so I am familiar with it) or a seperate stand alone dryer such as a MC or Farm Fans type. The added storage would most likely be at least a 50,000 bushel bin up to 100,000. Gotta do some figuring on the size I need yet. Anyway just wondering which is more efficient?
