Been a raft of them around here that were causing the same problem. Hopefully it is a tubeless tire.

Solution is to weld it all the way around solid and the noise will go away. BIL's had a rear wheel fall off their 9500 from the same situation. Cracked from the back side and you could not tell until it was too late.
