That's a ridiculous offer to me. If it's on your leg you should get RTK coverage for your farm for free in my opinion. We kind of bypassed the system this spring and put up our own tower this spring that covers our whole farm. Our thoughts were that by the time you pay all of the RTK fees to get going and then a per machine unit per year fee besides it becomes a really quick ROI to own the tower and have control of it. This RTK network thing really isn't the rocket science that they make it out to be. We now have two other neighbors running off our system at a very reasonable annual fee and it works. Our dealer that we bought the RTK systems from still made money on the sale of the equipment and they still service our equipment. Just my two cents on the RTK tower trap that so many seem to be falling into!
