NW Washington
Erosion is a major problem in this region in North Idaho and Eastern Washington, often referred to as the Palouse, but generally most rains are gentle and not intense and most of the rain falls during the winter and early spring. No-till really helps to control the erosion problem, but far to many are still tilling the soil like they were planting a garden. The top soil (A horizon) is gone from most hill tops. The most of the soil is a silt loam which is very productive if the rains come at the right time. If they had intense rains like occur in the Midwest and other parts of the country the soil would be long gone.

Those knobby tires are unusual on that type of leveler. Wondering why they are being used. I would guess you would spin out going up some steep grades.
