SW KS, near Dodge City
How much productivity do you think you'll lose when you've got EE's worrying about tearing up a 10 dollar shovel? Remember, these guys are paid by the hour, and if they're a shovel motor, their job probably isn't the greatest nor the best paying job the organization has to offer. VERY VERY few people will simply willfully destroy something "just because" as everybody seems to assume these EE's are doing. Sure, they don't mind when one breaks, but I would bet dollars to donuts that they're not purposely breaking them. Well, ok, I remember some of the "watch this" kinda' crap that I pulled, and will probably pull again in the future, that sometimes goes haywire w/ unexpected results, but that's all part of the game.

I bet that at most they go through 2 or 3 shovels/year/employee. I bet they would lose enough productivity in 1 month to cover the cost of the shovels.

Course, they might not be able to tear up the one that'll cost you a portrait of U.S. Grant.
