Subject: Better no-till opener for sticky soil?

Finland, up there in north where noboby farms!
First no-till year is done deal. We used Krause double disk opener whit front coulter and it worked realtively well. Biggest issue is that on sticky heavy clay opener will lift some pieces up and trowh them around. This will cause some seeds are under big clumps and can't get up ever. Soil movement will cause depth gauge wheel to loose contact too. I bet it gets better over years when soil will get some organing material back and it looked like previous year min till made first inch come of whit opener easily. Surely if soil would be dryer when drilled it would not do this, but we don't have time to wait that long whit our shor growing season. Have to say that these areas of the heavy clay has been challege for ever.

Been looking JD 90-series openers and Cross Slot too. JD openers (or drills) are not availeble here in Finland, so do anybody know if you could buy just openers from US? I think dealers don't wanna sell just openers? Don't wanna get JD drill, because it does not offer what we need here.

What you thinks about JD 90-series opener for no-till?

Any other options or ideas?

CS probably is very good, but cost is very high to my size farm. Also hp / opener is issue.
