West Michigan
O.K. you need to compare apples to apples. WOW, just because it is a triple doesn't tell you it's going to yield well. 1st trait is Round up Ready that means it won't die when you spray it with Glyphosate. 2nd trait (double stack)is BT which means it will kill any European corn borer that try to eat the plant. 3rd trait(this makes it triple stack) Root Worm resisitant means it will kill any RW that try to eat the roots. Do any of these appear to have anything to do with how good the hybrid is ? Make a bad hybrid for your farm into a triple it's still going to be a terrible hybrid for your farm. These traits don't change it into a some other hybrid. You can't compare things that way. Plant a single, double and a triple of the same base genetics next to each other and then you can make statements like " Second year in a row that my triple-stack corn looks to be my worst ".
