Subject: aNH3 Equapply

Central Iowa
Jim's post below got me thinking, we are considering going to injecting NH3 behind a coulter in our no-till system as we spring apply all our ammonia and the idea of less soil disturbance is appealing and a lower horsepower requirement would be fantastic. We had looked at the Exactirx system and I think it's a good system but I'm thinking it could be somewhat cost prohibitive. Guess my question is does anyone have an Equapply system and if so what are your thoughts on it? Also would be great to hear from anybody currently applying NH3 behind a coulter. Thanks guys.
Jake

Sorry guess Jim's post was in Crops
