| Tried starting beans tonight. Sure get's dark early now. Just purchased this head ,previous had a 930f on a 9600. This combine does not have a Contour Master but the jit was installed for the vary hyd. press. This head was on a new combine the niebor had so I have seen the result of it cutting ( clean and close ) Now that I have it what 's wrong because it seem to have a build up on the sickle , throw in slugs and pushing the beans down in spots. Didn't seem to flex as much as I wanted to see .
Previous owner must have had the reel the correct height and brought back the correct distance because he cut well over a thousand acres with it.
Is a older combine that much different in height , feeder house position.
As it was dark by the time I findly got it all spinning I just took notice and cut enough for the moisture tester . Will try adjust the reel downward slightly in the day light and anything else that sounds promising if any one else has a comment for improvements.
