| Started into seeing why the ol girl quit moving this summer. took cover off the under side and clutch seams to be ok. took the top off the trans and can't find any thing that looks out of place or broke, seams to shift fine. I put it in gear and started to rock it and it was moving the fan ok(turnning the motor over) than I heard a pop and than it rolled pretty easy and I had no park which I had before so I think its in the rear end. my ?? is if I take off the top cover off the rear end do you think I can see whats wrong/broke? this is new to me.
What happenend to begin with is I was hooking two wagons together and when I shifted from 5th to 5th reverse nothing happened, so towed it home / rolled it so I cant runn it cause th stearing collom is broke off. I know the motor is still good and tring to find out weather or not I shoud fix it for a yard tractor or scrap it. thanks Matt | |
