Subject: Re: 20 to 25% drop in DAP and Urea

Oklahoma
Only crop I plant is Haygrazer. This Spring 18-46-0 was a little over $1100 a ton. I preplant 200lbs./acre. Couldn't afford it so put down 100lbs./acre Urea preplant (was hoping there was enough carryover from last year). Yield was a little off on first cutting, but way down on second cutting after usual topdress of Urea.

It's hard to justify high dollar fertilizer for a hay crop. I don't know where this is gonna end. Something's gotta give, and I'm afraid it's gonna be me. My native hay isn't enough to get by. I gotta have the big producer I get from the Haygrazer.
