Or thinking right.

I just changed my 1020 from 1.5" to 3" cut. I kept the head all the way up so the safety lock would be down if I needed to be under it for some reason. Also, keeping the head up lets the guards flex so it's easier to push the sickle in.

FWIW I pushed my 20' sickle in all the way easily but had a heck of a time getting the head past the tinwork on the left side of the head.

Thanks to profanity and a bigass crowbar I got it done.
