Macon, IL | Pipeline came out about a month ago and mowed a 5ft strip of beans all the way through field that was off the easement-about 1/3 of an acre. I called and complained they said they would make it right.
Got a check last week that was for way too much. I called to find out what was up.
I was told that some people got 30ft mowed, some got 5ft. Some had part of theirs mowed at 30ft and some of it at 5ft. Some farms had corn, some had beans. Rather than try and measure each one and have disputes it was cheaper for them to keep everyone happy and pay the price for 30ft all the way across the field and pay on $6 corn.
