Coldwater, Michigan | If you spray foliage anytime that it does not totally cover the ground, you will get some of it onto the soil. That in turn will eventually cycle through a plant. It is just a matter of when. I believe many times when we foliar feed we a merely stimulating the plant to grow better, and therefore draw more moisture, and nutrients into the plant. That is what I think gives the additional yield, not just the result of the nutrients that went into the plant.
