Study after study has provided the information that your scout was referring to. It's been quite a while since a replicated field test has been done...and the economics of yield and drying aren't what they used to be, but I think current prices and values still favor harvesting in the lower 20s and drying the rest of the way. Maybe Ed has some current numbers.
