| Probably 70% of people using dry fertilizer with the Dawn Strip Till unit also use the Montag. 70% of those people use the high output. There are a lot of things I like about the Montag product but the number one is how little hydraulic horsepower it draws compared to some of the other systems I have seen. You can order an adapter with our unit that converts from standard 2 in hose to the 2.5 hose on the HO. There has been a lot of talk about fertilizer rates lately. Getting the exact same amount of product to each row is imperative. If you are over applying you can mask inaccuracy of distribution. If you are trying to cut back you cannot afford to have two adjacent rows getting 20% different rates.
