This is Mike Miller. I met you at Farm Science Review. My buddies and I were all impressed with your machine. Do you know of anyone running one in North Central Ohio? I would be interested in seeing one run locally.

I have an idea and thought I would bounce it off you. I like the idea of using Dry Fertilizer in the strip. Air carts are expensive, though, and no one around here has much experience with them I don't think. Not everyone can afford 60' toolbars, or needs one. What if a guy could find a good planter frame(say 6 row) with good dry fertilizer but no planting units. Any reason you couldn't mount your Pluribus unit on it (assuming a 7x7 bar) and then get some good heavy duty no-till fertilizer openers up front? Use the boxes to put down your dry fert and strip till directly behind. Just looking for a way of doing this cheap and wondered what you thought. It'd take a pretty good no till planter I'd think but it should work. What do you think?

Mike
