NESD | The terminators are part of the Can Bus system, The Can Bus is the communications system between the assorted controllers on the Tractor, Combine, Sprayer Etc, one is the active terminator and the other is the passive terminator, The controllers send out messages on the Can Bus to the other controllers, the active terminator controls the voltage on the Can Bus and the passive terminator terminates (erases) the messages once they are read, The system won't work with a failed active terminator but will with a passive one, although it will bog down and can give boggus fault codes. | |
