There are two "terminators" for the wiring harness on these tractors. One is at the top of the A post, behind the cover, and the other is up on the motor. I would say that they need to be replaced, as this usually will solve this problem. The tractor is "supposed" to operate if one of them goes bad, but we have always changed both of them out when they act up.
