This number that tells you where you are..........is it on a puter screen or a manual readout like the concave number setting I view outside the right window of my 9600?

From what you said about the calibration part, I am under the impression that sensor that reads where the chaffer and seive are and tells the computer so it can report a number back to you is shot.

I would imagine that it is a resistance sort of deal. Probably some sort of deal that as resistance increases the number goes up and so does the setting on the machine.

How to test it? I have no idea. I have a sneaky feeling this is something beyond the ohm meter but then again, maybe not.

Got an ohm meter handy?
