Subject: RE: Spraying alfalfa while in dormancy

Buffalo, MN
I have Sencor impregnated on Potash and applied just before the alfalfa comes out of dormancy, after the snow has melted, and before the ground is thawed. There is only about two days in MN to get this done, so you have to be ready! Sencor does an excellent job, if it isn't alfalfa, its dead. If you have a poor stand (< 3.5 ton per ac) it may not be worth it.
