I don't know what your serial no. is, but all 843's I have seen have either an idler sprocket or a spool. Mine. which is a fairly early serial no. has the idler spool. Standing behind the header, from the clutch sprocket, the chain goes straight up to the back side of the auger sprocket, around the top, front, to the bottom of same, OVER the top of the idler spool and down to the starting point of the clutch sprocket.Idler spool pushes up to tighten the chain.Hope this isn't too confusing. Never seen just an idler block used here, but anything is possible.
