| Has anyone here assembled the cross auger drive for a John Deere 843 corn head? I cannot get the chain routing correct. There is a small metal block that the chain rides on. The old one was slightly worn in so I replaced it. I ran for 20 hours and the chain has worn clear through the metal block! Any thoughts? I can get pictures later. The JD parts online has multiple routings for 843 and I am not sure which is correct. Call (405) 880-4783 or respond to this post. | |
