Upstate Ny | we had a small regular fridge in the shop and just bought a regular full sized one to replace it. consumer reports just did an article on refrigerators and they found that the small (under 5 cu ft) refidgerators used almost as much electric than a full sized one!! we simply did not have enough room for drinks and food in the small one, and if you want to freeze somthing in the small ones you may as well throw it out in the snow bank. the full sized one i have says it will use about $50-$60 a year. now we can stock it full for winter work not to mention we have a heifer for butcher soon. | |
