central sask | pulled the vert auger and gearbox today,( only two bolts and a strip of flighting holding it all in anyway)
looks like we have too pull the entire unload system as lower housing is tore up , upper elbow has some cracking and the horizontal tube support rod mount is bending and denting tube. will rebuild everything and add a couple extra supports. Has a 3-4 foot extension with no access cover to get into the angle drive so will remedy that at same time. will be down for a few days as we wait for parts and get other jobs done( seeding winter wheat/fall rye, picking rock, sumerfallow ,etc.) till we can combine on Thursday if it dries up enough. | |
