south east SD | Did mine last winter and got the seals and the new shaft that goes with it from Deere. My dads 2nd cousin is a 70 year old mechanic and loves to work on the old 4020's so I called him and he came out and did it in my shop. I drained the oil the night before and when he showed up it was like a kid in a candy store!! Told all about the fix and what to do and not to do and he crawled under it like a 20 year old and did all the work. I was happy as it was done right and he was happy to play with them again and I paid him what he asked to do the job. | |
