We have a couple of genorators. we have a 20KW PTO genorator, and a 2-71 gen set thats 20 KW, both of these will produce 200 amps, which works well on 200 amp service. for the size of gen you are talking about many people just back feed it through a welder/dryer plug. that is up to you. I DO NOT Recomend this due to Liability issues. we have a switch box out at our power pole. I have found connectors for pick-up winches and bale beds that will work to connect at the gen. or at the box. they are avaliable up to 250 amps on two wires. I got mine at o'rielly's.
