Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.		The handheld Garmin that I have allows me to change the format of the lat/lon among several choices.

I believe one is the degrees.decimal minutes format and another is degrees, minutes, seconds. There are several others.

Ths might be a possibility for you rather than converting the format yourself.
