Chancellor, SD | Combines are built in Moline so I can not speak to that. The whole tractor is built in less than a day. Granted the engine is already built before hand. We started on the chassis line which we be the first picture. That only took about half hour. Then to paint which takes a little while maybe an hour or so. Then to the assembly line which took maybe 2 hours or so. About 45 minutes of that was a roll test which we did not see them do. We started at 7 and the tractor was done before dinner. I think our guide said they could build over 50 tractors a day but the parts suppliers can not keep up. Truly amazing to see. | |
