Subject: RE: Greasing gang bearings on IH 490 disk???

Seaford, Delaware
Visit www.macnaught.com and check out their greasing equipment. They have a grease gun Model K6 Mini-Lube that mounts on one gallon cans of grease. Two position gun that has a high pressure setting that exerts 10,000 PSI pressure. Has never failed to bust open a grease zerk for me. Very convenient without having to fool with grease tubes anymore. Once you get it free, fill with a high quality aluminum complex grease with moly. Avoid lithium complex greases in this situation as they are not 100% waterproof. Be careful not to overgrease! When you see the grease running out, it's to late and the seals have probably been ruined. Hope this helps!
