roaming | Sounds like you are the perfect candidate for a Trimble EZ-Guide 250 or EZ-Guide 500 lightbar. Both fit well as entry-level manual guidance systems, but can be expanded if you decide your ROI justifies it.
You could also get started with a used EZ-Guide Plus. Not produced any more, but you should be able to pick one up for less than half the original cost.
